What are tokens?
- Tokens are the unit of AI editor usage. Every request to the AI consumes tokens
- Your token balance is tied to the team
- When tokens run out, generation is unavailable until you top up
- Tokens are used only in the AI editor; other features work without tokens

What happens when tokens run out?
- The AI editor will show an error and offer to buy a token package
- AI generation is unavailable until you top up
- Other features (editing, publishing) continue to work

Why is a model unavailable, and how is its replacement selected?
- Locked models appear faded. Availability depends on the subscription, token balance and temporary model restrictions.
- If the selected model becomes unavailable, the editor selects and saves the first available model in the original list. Favorites do not affect this order. If none are available, sending is disabled and the message draft is preserved.
